Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda Thursday's testing news from Jerez

Three drivers in action

Enrique Bernoldi joined Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda on Thursday morning at Jerez for the second day of what's the team's final test of the year. He drove chassis 006-06, the car Anthony Davidson had been in on Wednesday. Enrique's intended programme was to complete two long tyre evaluations before handing over to Anthony for the afternoon session. However he had only completed two stints of the first long run when the session was interrupted by a circuit red light. He went back out when the circuit was re-opened to continue the evaluation and completed a total of 54 laps during the morning session.

Meanwhile, Jenson Button spent the early part of the morning in the '05 Concept car going through some set-up work followed by further tyre evaluation for Michelin. He completed 46 laps in total.

As planned Anthony took over from Enrique in the afternoon and completed further long runs to evaluate some new tyres. He completed 44 laps, bringing the total lap tally for chassis 006-06 to 98 laps for the day.

Jenson also ran through a tyre evaluation this afternoon. He completed a further 56 laps, bringing his final lap total to 102 laps putting more valuable miles on the Concept car. Takuma Sato will take over from Jenson tomorrow.
