MOPAR’S BAZEMORE AND GLADYSZ TO APPEAR ON SPEED CHANNEL’S “SPEEDFREAKS TV�
Center Line, Mich. — Team Mopar drivers Whit Bazemore and Pete Gladysz are set to appear on one of Speed Channel’s most hardcore racing programs, “SpeedFreaks TV�. The duo will chat with hosts Kenny Sargent, Crash Gladys, Statt Mann Caruthers and Lugg Nuttz from the Mopar Speedshop, on Monday, December 27 beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST. The program is scheduled to re-air on December 28 at 12:30 a.m. EST and 7:30 a.m. EST.
Bazemore piloted his Matco Tools Dodge Stratus to a sixth-place finish in the 2004 POWERade NHRA Funny Car standings. He was the series’ runner-up twice in his career, and he won the NHRA U.S. Nationals two times. Bazemore will return to the cockpit with Don Schumacher Racing in 2005, as the team looks to win the POWERade NHRA Funny Car championship.
Gladysz was part of Mopar’s SCCA Pro Rally driving duo in 2004. Along with his partner, Doug Shepherd, Gladysz helped earn the Overall SCCA Pro Rally Series Manufacturer’s title. He also captured Co-Driver of the Year honors. Gladysz has five Group 5 victories to his credit, and he helped drive Mopar and Dodge Motorsports to a perfect two-wheel drive season.
