IMSA, AMERICAN LE MANS SERIES TO HOLD WINTER TESTS AT SEBRING JAN. 23-25
Braselton, Ga. - The American Le Mans Series Winter Tests will be held January 23-25 at Sebring International Raceway. This will be the first time many of us, including journalists, will get a chance to see many of the new teams and their drivers who will participate in the 2006 American Le Mans Series.
While we expect many teams and drivers to be announced in the coming weeks prior to the Winter Tests, we have had confirmation from several manufacturers and teams, including the Porsche prototype and BMW.
While a more definitive schedule and teams participating will be announced early in January, we wanted to give you as much advance notification as possible in order to make travel and hotel arrangements.
An informal dinner for media and team public relations representatives is planned for the evening of January 22 at Chateau Elan in Sebring should you arrive prior to the official first day of tests.
