MOPAR TO OFFER $10,000 CHILI BOWL BONUS
Center Line, Mich. - Mopar looks to spice up the 2006 O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals with the addition of the Mopar Challenge Bonus. If the winner of the A-main feature event utilizes a Mopar powerplant, that driver will receive a $10,000 bonus, courtesy of Mopar. The 20th annual O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals are set to run January 11-14, 2006.
All Mopar-powered entries are eligible for the 2006 Mopar Challenge Bonus. Tracy Hines, the 2005 O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals champion, became the second driver to claim the $10,000 bonus, driving the No. 11 Wilke-PAK Motorsports entry. In 2002 Tony Stewart earned the Mopar Challenge Bonus award for his victory in the 16th Annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. Stewart piloted the No. 67s Keith Kunz-owned entry to the win.
With more than 20 Mopar-powered machines entered in the 2005 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, the stage has been set for one of the best A-main events to date. Josh Wise, Dave Darland, Levi Jones, Brad Kuhn, Teddy Beach and former winners Tracy Hines, Dan Boorse and Tony Stewart are all slated to pilot Mopar-powered machines in this year's race.
