Countdown To Volusia!
The WKA Dirt World Championships presented by American Power Sports is right around the corner. Let us tell you why this is the must attend dirt karting event of the year!
Over $10,000 worth of Briggs Motors will be awarded to class winners. Tomar Clutches are being awarded to the Jr Sportsman, Junior, and Senior drivers each day who win the G-Man Pole Award by the largest margin - plus one to be given away at each day's driver's meeting. Twelve clutches in three days! Both Phantom and Prowler are awarding $100 certificates to their drivers who win on their chassis. PLUS: PEC/Jr's Trim Shop has stepped up and is awarding $100 certificates to those drivers winning on their engines. AND: Ultramax will also award those drivers winning on an Ultramax Racing Chassis. WKA Dirt Karters are no longer running for just points anymore! WKA is pleased to announce a partnership with Briggs & Stratton Motorsports for a Pro Tour event at national speedway dirt and speedway pavement races.

The class will be Animal Heavy and a non-points class completely separate from the Briggs Animal Heavy points class. Provisions will be made for drivers to have ample time between the two classes and also to run the same motor for both for any driver who chooses to.
A total purse of $2000 will be paid every race!
1st Place: $1000
2nd Place: $400
3rd Place: $250
4th Place: $200
5th Place: $150
DIRTVision will have the World of Outlaws Mobile Media Center in use for three of the six days, during the Winternationals at Volusia, December 27, 30, and Jan 1. With this, karters will be able to see LIVE Timing and Scoring, as well as, LIVE Video on the big screen. There will also be WiFi provided for the pit area so karters can access email during the event. There will be a FREE preview for everyone of the first race on December 27th. If people like what they see, they can subscribe for the event, which will give them access to the live event, as well as, On Demand archived event the following week.
