The Shock Doctor/KTM Factory GNCC Team had a great weekend at the 7th round of the GNCC Series where XC-2 rider Kailub Russell lengthened his points lead and XC-1 rider Nate Kanney came from a dead last start to finish one spot shy of the podium.

Shock Doctor/KTM Team Recommends Eject Helmet Removal System

The Shock Doctor/KTM GNCC Factory Team of Kurt Caselli, Nathan Kanney, Kailub Russell and Cory Buttrick were the first off-road factory race team to wear the Shock Doctor Eject Helmet Removal System when they showed up at the 6th round of the series this weekend with the safety device clearly installed in each of their helmets

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’ Destry Abbott rode a hard-fought race while nursing an injured wrist to finish ninth during the second round of the AMA National Hare and Hound Series in Ridgecrest, Calif. Kawasaki rider Jacob Argubright came away with a career-best finish of third on his Kawasaki KX450F.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Watkins Takes Home State Win in Ohio

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Scott Watkins earned his first GNCC XC2 class win of the season during a dusty round 12 at Power Line Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Watkins battled much of the race for the lead and was able to edge out the competition on the last lap. Watkins good ride finished him in seventh overall amongst the XC1 riders and moved him up to fourth in the points standings. Teammate Andrew Matusek turned out a good ride to round out the top-10.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Dietrich Remains Points Leader with Podium at Honey Lake

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ricky Dietrich maintained his points lead over fellow Kawasaki rider Bobby Bonds with a third-place finish during the ninth round of the WORCS series at Honey Lake MX in Milford, Calif. Teammate Damon Huffman was not far behind, finishing fifth. Destry Abbott finished 14th. Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green rider Taylor Robert kept his win streak alive and clinched the Pro 2 class one race early.

Just over three weeks after the accident, Morros has completely come out of the coma and is making incredible improvements just days after waking up.

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Damon Huffman put his Kawasaki KX450F on the podium during round eight of the WORCS series at Bull Hollow Raceway in Monticello, Utah. Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green rider Taylor Robert regained the lead in the Pro 2 class after winning his fourth race of the year, while teammate Ryan Abbatoye joined him on the podium in third.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Abbott Clinches Fifth Hare and Hound Championship in Wendover

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Destry Abbott clinched his fifth-career AMA National Hare and Hound championship title during round six of the series in Wendover, Nev. Abbott needed to finish fourth or better and he was able to come across the finish inside the top-five. Teammate Josh Morros was in second until he went down and was air lifted out to a hospital in Salt Lake City.

AMA announces changes to 2008 AMA West Hare Scrambles Championship Series schedule

PICKERINGTON, OHIO
The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) announced that a round of the AMA West Hare Scrambles Championship Series that had been cancelled is being placed back on the schedule. The September 27-28 event in Payette, Idaho, will run as originally planned.

The AMA regrets to announce the cancellations of two rounds of the AMA West Hare Scrambles Championship Series. These events will not be rescheduled, making round 7 the last event of the series prior to the National Shootout event in Davis, Oklahoma, on October 19, 2008.
