Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki Lights Up the Night in Colorado

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki had a dominating performance at Thunder Valley Raceway in Lakewood, Colo. as Jake Weimer earned his first career 250 class overall win with his teammate Christophe Pourcel finishing second. Tyla Rattray finished ninth overall. In the 450 class, Canidae/Motosport/Kawasaki's Tommy Hahn earned his first career podium finish while Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ricky Dietrich was seventh overall and Timmy Ferry was 17th.

2010 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, schedule announced

PICKERINGTON, Ohio
The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and Feld Motor Sports(SM) announced today the schedule for the 2010 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, that begins Jan. 9 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., and concludes May 8 at Las Vegas' Sam Boyd Stadium. Since its beginning in 1974, Monster Energy® Supercross has played in some of the world's largest markets and most prestigious venues, and the 2010, 17-stop season adds to the sport's rich heritage.

Monster Energy Kawasaki Hits the Jackpot in Las Vegas

Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto earned his second win in three races, pacing the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM Championship season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium. Villopoto's victory came on the heels of Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Christophe Pourcel's victory earlier in the evening during the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Supercross Lites Shootout. In all, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team placed all four of its riders in the top six with Jake Weimer finishing fourth, Austin Stroupe fifth and Ryan Morais sixth.

Yamaha rider James Stewart has won the 2009 AMA SX Championship (also an FIM world championship) thanks to third position taken at the seventeenth and last round of the series in front of almost 40,000 spectators at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The 23 year old claimed his second SX title and the sixth of his career while successfully defending Yamaha's crown in the premier class.

Villopoto Reigns in Seattle

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto thrilled his hometown crowd at Qwest Field in Seattle with an electrifying win on Saturday night. Villopoto took the lead early and never looked back as he scored his first-career AMA Supercross win. Billy Laninovich won the Canidae Last Chance Qualifier to make the main event where he finished 20th. In the AMA Supercross Lites class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Ryan Morais finished second just ahead of his teammate Jake Weimer who finished fourth.

Pourcel Celebrates Championship With Fifth Win

Newly Crowned AMA Supercross Lites Eastern Region Champion Christophe Pourcel showed his champion's prowess by winning his fifth race of the season in dominating fashion. His Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki teammate Austin Stroupe charged through the field to finish on the podium in third. In the supercross class, Canidae/Motosport/Kawasaki's Tommy Hahn finished a season-best seventh, with Billy Laninovich putting his Monster Energy Kawasaki in the top-10.

YZ450F rider James Stewart aced his tenth victory of the 2009 AMA Supercross series - also an FIM World Championship - by taking the chequered flag at Jacksonville for round 14 of 17. The LandM San Manuel representative again finished ahead of arch-rival Chad Reed and has now narrowed the deficit in the standings to just 5 points from the Australian with three races remaining.

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Pourcel Takes Home the Title in Toronto
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki
Irvine, Calif.
Christophe Pourcel claimed the 2009 AMA Supercross Lites Eastern Region Championship after winning his fourth race of the season at Rogers Centre in Toronto on his Kawasaki KX250F. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider clinched the championship with one race remaining and was joined on the podium by his teammate Austin Stroupe. Stroupe finished second in the main event with Canidae Motosport Kawasaki's Branden Jesseman fourth. In the supercross class, Monster Energy Kawasaki's Billy Laninovich did not advance to the main event.
