BROWNSBURG, Ind. (Aug. 30, 2008) - For the third-straight year Don Schumacher Racing opened its 100,000-sq.-ft. drag-racing facility doors in Brownsburg, Ind., to the public in an effort to raise money for Indianapolis-based Riley Hospital for Children. In six hours on Friday, Aug. 29,, an estimated 4,000 fans, drivers, VIPs and NHRA drag-racing participants passed through the shop in advance of this weekend's 54th annual U.S. Nationals.

Cory McClenathan will represent Don Schumacher Racing and the NHRA Thursday evening, May 15, at the 6th annual 2008 Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Muscle Team event at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, which is open to the public. The driver of the FRAM Top Fuel dragster in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series will lend his support to help provide opportunities for local children living with neuromuscular disease to interact with some of their favorite athletes.

DARRELL RUSSELL TRIBUTE HELMET AND FIRESUIT RAISE OVER $3200

CYPRESS, Texas (May 13, 2008)

The Darrell Russell Tribute helmet and firesuit worn by Top Fuel driver Alan Bradshaw during the recent O’Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis raised over $3200 for Racers for Christ. The custom Impact Racing firesuit sold for $1101.99 while the Impact Racing helmet netted $2126.99. Because both items were generously donated by Impact Racing, along with the custom helmet paint job donated by Brandon Mendoza, the total amount raised will go to RFC.

Tindle racing with his heart on his firesuit's sleeve in Atlanta

Former JEGS ProMod Challenge winner Tim Tindle will race for a very special cause when the tour reaches Atlanta Dragway April 24-27 for the 28th annual NHRA Southern Nationals. Tindle will banner the Alabama/Gulf Coast Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to raise awareness for a disease that has stricken his 7-year-old niece Haleigh McRae.

Ohio Valley Region SCCA gives to The JEGS Foundation
