Museum Offers Discounted Price to Visitors, Sept. 5-28
Visitors coming to the Los Angeles County Fair, Sept. 7-30, will have a chance to see a real Southern California phenomenon: hot rods and dragsters. Yes, in between the Fair’s thrilling rides, barnyard animals and varieties of unique foods, the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum – Mecca of hot rods and racing – will be open. Admission to the NHRA Museum, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, is just $1 for those attending the Fair (there’s a separate charge to get into the Fair). Also, the Museum hours almost mirror the Fairs during its run: Wednesday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday: 11 a.m.-midnight; Saturday: 10 a.m.-midnight; and Sunday: 10 a.m-10 p.m. Both the Museum and Fair are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

A “perfect storm” of racing is zeroing in on the world capital of off-road, Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, as the little Wisconsin town with the big track prepares for what will certainly be the biggest weekend in off-road racing this season. Le Petit Elegance will serve to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research at this year's Petit Le Mans.
The American Le Mans Series will play host to the 2nd annual Le Petit Elegance breast cancer charity event at Road Atlanta on Sunday, September 28. The premier sports car series will partner with the premier cancer research hospital, Emory University School of Medicine.
